M & M's make everything better, even math. Ask your child about making our pictographs with M&M's. Other activities this week included... making "maaaavelous" middles in writing (ask your child about the picture of the cool, awesome dog), the end of Ruby Holler , making words with the ou and ow sound, recreating the water cycle and so much more.
Thank you for sending in the field trip permission slips and money. We are looking forward to a crisp, sunny, autumn day for the frontier theater. Please dress your children in tennis shoes and send a jacket. We hope to leave the school as close to 8:45 as possible. We will leave Marshfield around 1:00 expecting to arrive back at Willard East at 2:00. As the school handbook states, students must ride the bus to the field trip, but if you would like to sign your child out, they may ride home with you from Marshfield. Please do not take your child until you have signed out with the teacher. Students will be counted absent from the time you sign them out.

The link below will take you to a google spreadsheet to sign up for a time if you still need one. I'm hoping to meet with every family. Conferences will last approximately 15 minutes. If we see that more time is needed we will schedule a follow up appointment for the next week.
